Olympic Physicians selected as a pilot program to study new ways of reducing health care costs...
Olympic Physicians has been selected by Washington State Health Care Authority and major insurers to study ways to reduce hospital and emergency room costs.  The staff at Olympic Physicians will be working on new efforts in the coming year to assist patients in alternatives to expensive care in the emergency room.

Dr. Mark Schlauderaffl was recently recognized for his role as a leader in Meaningful Use of electronic health records.  Congratulations to the entire team at Olympic Physicians for their efforts at improving patients access to healthcare.

Olympic Physicians has completed work with Medical Home Collaborative
Olympic Physicians was chosen by the Washington State Department of Health to join 19 Washington Clinics to participate in a collaborative effort to study and implement the medical home model of health care in Washington State.  The medical home is new and exciting for health care and focuses on providing quality primary care.  The medical home is widely talked about on the national stage as being key to health care reform.  To find out more go to the Washington State Department of Health website at http://www.doh.wa.gov/cfh/wsc/Med-Home/What-is-coll.htm
